T-Mobile MDA Vario IV revealed in Europe

There was quite the stir over at an event being held in Germany by T-Mobile, when they unexpectedly released a new version of the Vario, which is being called the Vario IV. It was quite a day regardless, as T-Mobile also unveiled their MDA Compact IV, and even a new version of the Ameo. The devices are all HTC made, just as their predecessors.

The new Vario IV has one monster of a specification sheet. It has some of the highest end features I have ever seen packed into such a tiny package, with such gems as 300 minutes of talk time, a 3 mega pixel camera, 528MHz processor, 256MB or RAM, GPS, FM radio, and a glorious screen at VGA resolution. Also packed in is that wonderful keyboard.

Unfortunately for us, this is most likely never going to see a U.S release, so it looks like you will have to move to Europe of you want this bad boy. With its tri band radio it will of course work on EDGE here with T-Mobile, but without that 7.2mbps HSDPA, what is the point. If you do get it though, at least you may get to use some keyboard shortcuts.

Its 2009 and still not release in the us, most likely because 3G is almost non existent here in the us so there is no point to such a great device
