T-Mobile Sidekick LX 09 gets sync app

In the days before the G1 hit the marketplace and was subsequently patched and hit its stride the big name in the T-Mobile stable was the Sidekick LX. The Sidekick is a feature phone that has slider design and a full QWERTY keyboard for typing.

T-Mobile announced today that Sidekick LX 09 model owners will find a new application available in the Download catalog. The application is the new Sidekick Sync app. The application supports real-time push email, attachment viewing, and full sync capabilities on the device.

The application also supports full read and respond functionality and configurable sync schedules. Corporate users will also be able to sync with contacts from a corporate directory along with Exchange calendar and meeting/event reminder sync. The app is available for $4.99 per month and a data plan is required to download the app.
