TmoNews, an unofficial T-Mobile news blog, has confirmed that Blackberry Curve 8900 (alongside the Samsung Memoir) will be released on February 18th, 2009. Well, the “hopeful” release date is one week later than an earlier leaked: February 11th. The device is expected to hit T-Mobile first.
Lacks the 3G, the Curve successor combines quad-band EDGE support with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, a 512 MHz next-generation processor and a dazzling 480 x 360, high-resolution display. This device is also equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, auto focus, digital zoom and flash.
The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is approximately 110 grams and 109 x 60 13.5 mm. Its large, striking, 2.4 inch HVGA+ display projects vivid colour and makes information easier to read.
