T-Mobile has announced a new addition to its handset line. The Dash 3G smartphone was announced officially this week and T-Mobile says its offers a balance of personal and professional connections. The handset operates on the T-Mobile 3G connection and features 802.11b/g connectivity.

The device runs Windows mobile 6.1 and comes in glossy black with red accents. A full QWERTY keyboard and a track ball are featured. The device also supports voice calling, messaging, personal and business email, GPS location-based services, and can sync with Outlook.
HTC builds the Dash for T-Mobile. The handset is expected to be in stores in July at an undisclosed price. I wouldn’t expect the Dash 3G to be too expensive though.
“As millions of families prepare to hit the road this summer, T-Mobile is offering our first 3G-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone to help customers stay connected, organized and traveling in the right direction,” said Travis Warren, director, product marketing, T-Mobile USA. “We’re excited to offer the power and style of the T-Mobile Dash 3G with high-speed Internet access thanks to T-Mobile’s rapidly expanding 3G network.”
