Boy Genius Report has outed T-Mobile’s device schedule for 2008. The information comes from a managers meeting that was held, so this information is looking solid. There are quite a few devices that are dropping, so read on for the full list.
Sony Ericsson is going to be providing T-Mobile with some new handsets, two more to be exact. The first, is the W760, it is a replacement for the W580, which is currently on AT&T. It will feature a 3.2 megapixel shooter, with support for T-Mobile 3G. Also, it will feature A-GPS. The other handset we will see is the Bella. The Bella will have a 2 megapixel camera, and will be a flip. It also will feature A-GPS and 3G support. These phones will be hitting T-Mobile around October or November.
Motorola is going to push out a few new phones on T-Mobile as well. The Motorola Z6w will have WiFi support, and could very well be another HotSpot@Home compatible phone for T-Mobile. The other new phone to be launched will bet he ROKR E8. Neither of the phones are expected to be launched with 3G. The W490 get a few new colors, like orange, pink, and purple.
Unfortunately, Samsung is not going to be making too big of a splash. They will be releasing a few lower end phones into T-Mobile’s line up though. Samsung has an “incredible” camera phone up it’s sleeves though. Perhaps it’s the G800?
HTC gets in on the party, with some “massive” updates to their current line up on T-Mobile. It is expected that these updates will be bringing Windows Mobile 6.1 to their currently offered phones.
