AT&T rated last in call quality by JD Power

It looks like AT&T isn't doing so hot when it comes to carrier competition. In fact, they came in last in a recent JDPower and Associates wireless industry survey. Verizon agrees to buy Alltel, largest carrier in nation will be formed

In a surprising confirmation of yesterday's rumor, Verizon has indeed agreed to buy Alltel wireless for $28.1 billion in cash.
