I use a Bluetooth headset on occasion when I know I will be driving in traffic. I never use them when I am in the mall because that looks really goofy. The big problem I have is that I usually forget to take my Bluetooth headset with me and never seem to have it when I need it.

In some states hands free kits are required if you are driving, in other states a hands free kit simply makes things easier.
