Broadcom today announce their latest mobile TV chip, which has the honour of being the world's first single-chip 65nm receiver. Snappily named BCM2940, the chip has a dual-mode demodulator and tuner and thus supports both the DVB-T and DVB-H mobile TV standards, as well as reducing power consumption and space demands by 40% and 30% respectively.
