Several governmental bodies have recommended that people who use cell phones take precautions, as the link between the mobile phones and brain tumors is unclear. A Senate Appropriations subcommittee held a hearing on Monday to look at the link between tumors and cell phone user.

One of the long running debates in the mobile phone industry is whether mobile phones contribute to the formation of tumors in the brain of users. So far, there has been no concrete evidence that the two things are linked and several studies have outright claimed no link at all.

The last time I was watching something where I was unable to skip commercials I noticed a glut of advertisements of mobile phone downloads like ring tones and graphics. The thing that stuck out the most about the offerings was that you didn’t know it cost like $10 per month until the last two seconds of the commercial.

A new study conducted by ABI Research has found that 66% of mobile phone accessory revenues come from aftermarket sales. This is expected to grow even more and mobile phone makers move accessories out of the box and onto store shelves.
