While the Samsung Access A287 might be the next cellphone in AT&T's range to support MediaFLO TV - as hinted by the TV button to the left of the D-pad - it's unfortunately otherwise blighted by being, well, pretty damned ugly. Sporting a 1.3-megapixel camera with zoom and video recording, specs are scarce but the carrier is likely to be targeting ...

It must be a day for colour-changing cellphones; not only is the Samsung F700v available in white over in Spain, but LG are releasing a silver version of their PRADA touchscreen handset. The phone - which SlashGear reviewed last year - will be available in eighteen European countries for around $500, with the chances of it reaching the US still ...

Sprint has been quietly preparing three cities for their high-speed 4G WiMAX network, Xohm, and are set to launch the network for signups in Chicago, Baltimore and Washington D.C. in advance of wider availability later in 2008. The service - which has far greater range per base-station than WiFi and, thanks to being designed with data in mind, should ...

Vodafone has had a lot of coverage over the past few days, though perhaps a little prematurely for its liking: since a presentation detailing the upcoming 2008 UK lineup was leaked, there are few secrets left in their corporate cupboard. We've already discussed some of the more interesting models - Blackberry's new 8000-series smartphone (possibly called the 8920), Nokia's QWERTY-blessed ...

Another CES 'Cherry Pick', Virgin Mobile stopped by to show off their Wild Card cellphone (and an even wilder red jacket), which is priced at just $100 and, for $2.49 a month, lets you access the network's 'Headliner' music magazine and listen to streaming music at $.25 a track.

Another from the 'Cherry Picks' event the SlashGear team attended at CES today, the zBoost zPersonal is a cellphone amplifier that can turn a network blind-spot into a signal hotspot. The compact box - which looks a little industrial, true, but all that cabling is so you can hide it out of the way - picks up any carrier's signal ...

Cue plenty of seething at Sony Ericsson as photos of their new CES lineup are apparently leaked prior to an official announcement. The handsets - which consist of the W350i flip, the W760i slider and the Z550i clamshell - continue the company's bold design theme, with strong contrast colours and some interesting textures on the Z550i.
