Nokia's 3110 Evolve might look a little out of place among the high-spec smartphones we usually feature on PHONE Mag, but the handset is perhaps more important than anything from HTC's new range or Vodafone's leaked roadmap. Created by the Finnish company as an example of how conscientious design can preserve style and function as well as maintain eco-credentials, the 3110 and its packaging is made ...

CES might be full of new tech-toys, but there's also plenty of existing gadgetry repackaged and sent out masquerading as something new. Ewdi scored hands-on time with the new OpenMoko FreeRunner smartphone. Based on the short length of time had with the FreeRunner, he wasn’t too impressed with response time of the device, but the interface layout was well designed and laid out.

You certainly can't accuse Motorola of shying away from a challenge: at their CES 2008 launch of the ROKR E8 music phone, their president of mobile devices, Stu Reed, defiantly told reporters that "we’re dispelling the myth that mobile phones with music features are inferior to stand-alone audio devices." Key to their assault on the standalone PMP market is ...

Motorola demoed the new Z10 last night at a private event; and I must admit that I was blown away. The features and specs are pretty innovative. I’m impressed.
The Z10 takes form of a kick slider choked full of multimedia features, featuring integrated video editing tools. The smaller 2.2-inch QVGA screen displays video at 30fps at 16 million ...
