A new device from Motorola called the MB300 Backflip/Enzo has leaked. The device is a folding handset and features MOTOBLUR along with a 5MP camera and QWERTY keyboard that folds against the screen.

That Google Nexus one smartphone is having a hard time keeping itself out of pictures and video. A new round of leaked images shows the device alongside the T-Mobile G1. The Nexus One makes the G1 look massive by comparison.

Rumors are coming in today that have the Verizon Droid and HTC Droid Eris getting the Android 2.1 update on January 22. This is firmly in the rumor category and there is no official word from HTC or Verizon on the updates.

AT&T may not have an Android phone to speak of, but the company does have the iPhone and just about every Blackberry to roll off the RIM assembly lines. AT&T is reportedly getting the Curve 8520 soon. No official announcement has been made, but pics of the 8520 box in AT&T livery have been leaked online.

AT&T and LG have announced that the new Shine II mobile phone will be landing on the AT&T network on November 22. The handset has the shiny LCD from the original along with other new features. The Shine II will sell for $119.99 after rebates.

Last weekend was the first weekend that the Motorola Droid was available to purchase on the Verizon network. Official sales figures are not available, but analysts predict about 100,000 Droids were sold opening weekend.

Word has come in today according to a poster over at the Sprint forums that Sprint has blocked the use of smartphones as 3G modems after years of allowing the practice. One user is very angry and plans to sue Sprint over the issue.
