AT&T launched the AT&T Mobile TV service with the Samsung Access and LG Vu. In this article, my primary focus is to show off AT&T Mobile TV via the Samsung Access. That being said, lets get the Access' specs out of the way. Access is a candy bar shaped phone featuring a gorgeous 240 by 320 pixel, TFT, 262K color ...

You've seen the photos, now for the video. Vincent grabbed some hands-on time with HTC's Touch Diamond after the presentation this morning, and shot some video of the smartphone in action. Games, mapping, internet access and YouTube are all covered, and the Touch Diamond's full VGA display really does shine. Leave us your opinion on the smartphone in the comments!

Vincent has been spending some hands-on time with HTC's Touch Diamond at its London premiere today, and we've got the live photos for you. In many respects the smartphone seems to live up to HTC's hyperbole: the 640 x 480 VGA screen is amazingly crisp and the device overall feels more like a compact PMP than a clunky smartphone. Saying that, the ...

Velocity Mobile's entrance into the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone arena may have prompted some raised eyebrows and vague pessimism, but having seen Vincent's hands-on gallery and two video demos of the 111 (with keyboard) and 103 (with larger, VGA screen) I'm a lot keener to try the pair out for myself. It's hard to make an impact at a ...

Vincent has been spending some hands-on time with the new Samsung Instinct that'll be exclusively available on Sprint from June. So far we're still waiting for his feedback - and he's a dedicated iPhone addict, so the Instinct will have to live up to high standards! - but we thought you'd enjoy these live photos from the CTIA Wireless ...

This morning I wasn't particularly inspired by Samsung's new G400 Soul, but having seen these exclusive photos from the CeBIT 2008 show floor I'm freshly impressed. Remember, that's a 2.22-inch touchscreen on the front, meaning you should hardly ever have to open the G400 up (and be faced with its low-profile keyboard). Check out the gallery of photos after the cut!

More video footage for you from the Mobile World Congress now, with a hands-on walkthrough of Sony Ericsson's W980i Walkman clamshell together with exclusive footage from the company's launch presentation. The W980i is unashamedly all about the music, with 8GB of onboard storage, an FM transmitter to send audio from the handset to your car stereo, the TrackID music identification service ...

The Mobile World Congress might have been and gone, but the content still comes through. Vincent attended LG's "Why Touch?" presentation, where they detailed the concept behind the KF600 and KF700 handsets; the former with its context-specific touchscreen subpanel, the latter the latest in the company's full-face touchscreen cellphone range. After the corporate pep-talk, Vincent has some hands-on time with ...

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has unsurprisingly been the star event of this week, featuring the mixture of new product launches, corporate jostling and PR whimsy that we all know and love. For us here at PHONE Magazine, it's been a week of exclusive video demos, and we hope you've been as excited as we were by the first ...

Since it's hard to believe that a low-power chipset can still be capable of pumping out 720p HD video, Vincent stopped by NVIDIA's booth at the Mobile World Congress to see their new APX 2500 platform in action and capture it on video. NVIDIA's reference design might not be intended for production, but I'm hoping it gives manufacturers some ideas; ...
