Since the video demo of the HTC Touch Diamond was posted on Phone Mag, there has been numerous requests for a demo of the keyboard and SMS messaging interface. Our own Vincent has taken it upon himself to get this video demo of those two aspects of this device up and ready for your viewing pleasure.

You've seen the photos, now for the video. Vincent grabbed some hands-on time with HTC's Touch Diamond after the presentation this morning, and shot some video of the smartphone in action. HTC have released some press images of the Touch Diamond, as well as more spec details. We now know that the smartphone uses a Qualcomm 528MHz processor, which goes some way to explaining those super-smooth TouchFLO 3D menu animations, as well as a front-mounted camera for video calls and, for some reason overlooked in HTC's presentation, GPS navigation. HTC have flooded their YouTube channel with new promo videos of the Touch Diamond. The footage demonstrates the new TouchFLO 3D GUI, which is a three-dimensional version of the original TouchFLO found on previous HTC smartphones.
