The Neo Ellipse has launched and it's definitely a looker. The 110 x 44 x 15 mm phone is attractive at only 15 mm thick in the center and a tapering down to just 3 mm on each end. Tata Comunications has just announced the world's largest commercial rollout of WiMAX technology in India, where wired broadband adoption has suffered from low adoption rates. Tata has tapped Telsima Communications to install WiMAX base stations in 110 cities across India by the end of 2008.
