I know many folks that never filled up the 8GB of storage that their original iPhone offered. I know I didn’t and I had everything on it I wanted. Hardcore music fans could fill up 8GB quickly I guess, but the average users probably won't.

Most people would not argue that the iPhone is a complex device. The newest iPhone 3GS model and the iPhone 3.0 OS offer several new features that make the device more complex. Users new to the iPhone and those that have been using it for a while probably don’t know all of the tricks and shortcuts for the device.

One of the big problems I have always had with my original iPhone is that the battery life isn’t that great. If you play many games or surf the net for long, you will run out of battery before your day is done. Apparently the new iPhone 3GS has some of the same issues.

The gang over at Consumer Reports has announced its latest rankings of smartphones. The publication has changed some of its ranking criteria, which means that some of the previous rankings have changed. For instance, the iPhone 3G moved up in rank while other devices dropped.
