Mobile software retailer Handango has seemingly confirmed that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 smartphone will be released in mid-September this year. More details have emerged about RIM's first flip BlackBerry, the KickStart, and it seems to be something of a mixed bag. This time shown with T-Mobile branding, the handset is quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE - sadly no 3G - has a 2-megapixel camera and WiFi b/g. According to BGR, while not confirmed the estimated release date is September.

I must admit that the Shadow 2 looks sleek and sexy. At this point, there's zilch info regarding specifications and what not, but from what I can tell looking at the spy shot, it's almost the same as the first Shadow. You might notice that there are new rounded edges and a Nokia-like-N96 reflective finish.
