LG GD910 watch phone could be U.S. bound

Posted on 20 July 2009 by Shane McGlaun

I was never that big on reading comic strips, but my dad liked Dick Tracy when I was a kid. The only thing cool I can recall about the comic strip was that he had a watchthe could talk into. Not as cool as that shoe Maxwell Smart had, but pretty cool nonetheless. LG was showing off its slick GD910 watch ... continued »

FCC approves LG GW600 smartphone

Posted on 17 July 2009 by Shane McGlaun

The FCC is a source of never ending product leaks for us geeks to peruse. I particularly like when a product is leaked by the FCC and when you look at the documents that are available with the FCC images and specifications you find a request by the device maker to keep images confidential. I don’t think the FCC cares ... continued »

Apparently, at least some of the developers don’t even have the mobile phone ... continued »

Posted on 24 June 2009 by Shane McGlaun

While mobile users in big cities are looking forward to getting faster mobile broadband speeds that 3G service can offer, those of us outside of a large city are still waiting to get a decent 3G connection. LG Crowns U.S. national texting champ

Posted on 18 June 2009 by Shane McGlaun

I am not fast when it comes to texting. For that reason, my texts tend to be short, full of abbreviations and anything else that can make things faster. I typically respond with single letters, K. My friend's wife on the other hand sends full paragraphs with punctuation and all. LG has announced the winner of its annual texting championship. The ... continued »
