4,700 gallons of gas could also be known as £10,000, but lately I've been thinking in tanks, not dollars. For those fortunate souls free from the tyranny of the pump, Nokia has come up with a way to spend your time and money: coveting their brand new nugget of conspicuous consumption. Behold:

Apparently it's luxury Friday here on Phonemag, because here is another likely expensive item. Tragically, this one isn't available to the public from the sound of it. The Russian Olympic Team have made the Samsung D780 their official phone, however, they get a better version than likely any of us will ever see. They have the honor of a fancy ...

And since Black Label handsets are more than just megapixels and spec sheets, it'll be made from carbon-fiber ...

Want to buy this limited edition, diamond studded clamshell? Well, you'll have to pick up the April issue of Seven Hills magazine, snip out the unique ID codes ...

Hard to believe it but Vertu - maker of precious-metal-clad cellphones with ridiculous price-tags - have managed to survive for ten whole years, and to celebrate they've created limited editions of their Constellation range. Named the Monogram collection, after the Vertu V-embossed leather back, the handset will be available in five colours: Pewter, Green, Red, Skye Blue or Cerise.

It's all very well having Armani written on your phone (preferably if it came that way from the factory, rather than you scrawling it on yourself with a sharpie) but knowing that anyone with the cash or, in the UK at least, the willingness to sign a new contract, could appear with the same phone rubs some of the glamour off. What won't ...
