MediaFLO USA will carry full-length college football games live for the 2008 season on its mobile TV service. AT&T and Verizon Wireless subscribers have access to the service via AT&T Mobile TV and V Cast Mobile TV, respectively.

Qualcomm wants to ensure some revenue in the U.K. as they have just acquired 40MHz of L band spectrum across the pond. The spectrum is prime for just about any technology. It is assumed though that Qualcomm will deploy its proprietary MediaFLO mobile TV service on the spectrum. This is of course if the European Union allows it.

As was expected, AT&T's Mobile TV service went live on Sunday. The service is now live in 58 markets, and is expanding. The technology is Qualcomm's MediaFLO, which runs on the 700MHz spectrum. The wait is almost over for those anxiously waiting for the arrival of AT&T Mobile TV along with the launch of the LG V and the Samsung Access on Sunday, May 4th. AT&T Mobile TV is the carrier's brand new live mobile TV service to compatible handsets via Qualcomm's MediaFLO network.

Shortly after the quickstart guides for the Vu Mobile TV flagship come pricing plan details for AT&T's media service itself. It appears that AT&T's mobile TV service - which was expected to launch on February 5th, with the LG Vu as headline handset - has been delayed, perhaps significantly.
