Our mobile devices seem to have lots of power today, but the key to giving us real computer power in the palm of our hand is to use a real computer processor. According to In-Stat in the next three years or so mobile processors will be very common on smartphones.

Many mobile phone users prefer pre-paid services to services where you have to sign a contract and be tied to one provider for at least two years. There are a number of pre-paid providers on the market for consumers to choose from and today that number has increased by one.

Sony has announced a new image sensor “Exmor†that is to be used in Sony mobile phones to achieve the industry's smallest unit cell size (1.4µm), and the industry's highest pixel count*1 (12.25 effective megapixel resolution). This new technology will help meet the demand for better cameras in handsets.
