Sony's mylo 2 WiFi communicator, which went on sale back in January, has received its first software update. Version 1.100 is available now from the Sony eSupport website, and adds support for WMV files, the SHOUTcast widget and slots a 'Games' option into the home menu. There are also a number of "system stability" improvements, though they are not specified.

Canadian carrier Rogers Wireless have launched a new mobile ticket service that allows you not only to buy entry to concerts via your cellphone but to use the handset itself as the ticket.
