As was expected, AT&T's Mobile TV service went live on Sunday. The service is now live in 58 markets, and is expanding. The technology is Qualcomm's MediaFLO, which runs on the 700MHz spectrum. Qualcomm has shown up in a list of nine possible bidders for L band spectrum in the range of 1452 and 1492 MHz. The spectrum auction is scheduled to be held near the end of the month.
