Sony's mylo 2 WiFi communicator, which went on sale back in January, has received its first software update. Version 1.100 is available now from the Sony eSupport website, and adds support for WMV files, the SHOUTcast widget and slots a 'Games' option into the home menu. There are also a number of "system stability" improvements, though they are not specified.

Sony announced their upgrade to the Mylo WiFi communicator, the imaginatively named Mylo 2, at CES 2008, and sales of the compact and QWERTY-equipped messaging device have begun today.
