Nokia has just announced that they will be releasing their 5800 XpressMusic's Star Trek edition phone. This new phone will feature everything about Star Trek including four screensavers, three wallpapers and eight brand new ringtones.

I have been using Nokia Messaging for my N78, but now I will try to use the Nokia's push mail client on my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. Nokia Betalabs today announced the prerelease client of Nokia Messaging for S60 5.0 devices. The final release for the 5800 will be coming next month via the Nokia Messaging site.

Nokia just halted the sales of its full touch screen phone, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, due to the phone’s 3G connection issues. According to Nokia, the issues is only discovered with the US version (especially in the New York and Chicago areas) and does not affect other regions.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM version is arriving at the US flagships today, "around 3PM,” according to the Nokia Blog. The touchscreen Nokia phone that first appeared on Dark Knight will be available to US retailers with the suggested price of $399 USD.

Nokia is preparing to launch what could very well be the first flagship touchscreen mobile phone the company has seen this coming week. Robert Scoble suggests that this handset may include Broadcom's new chipset that combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, which is “just about†to be announced.
