It looks like Verizon isn't the only carrier that will soon get to enjoy a mobile hotspot on their network. In fact, Sprint just announced today that they will soon offer the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 "Intelligent Mobile Hotspot" on their carrier as well.

Novatel Wireless seem to be pushing out more new HSDPA modems than there are USB ports for, but their latest has a couple of handy extras in addition to its 7.2Mbps downlink abilities (network depending, of course). Kevin Choi from AVING spent some time at the MWC playing with Novatel's new MC950D HSDPA/HSUPA USB modem, and you can see the video of it after the cut. The Ovation MC950D offers triband 850/1900/2100MHz HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS and quadband 850/900/1800/1900MHz GPRS/EDGE, with data speeds of up to 7.2Mbps downlink and 2.1Mbps uplink (network depending, naturally).
