Nokia announces an increase in adoption of Qt with additional licensing option

Today Nokia announced that the Qt cross-platform User Interface and applications framework will be available under the Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 license from the release of Qt 4.5 that is set to happen in March 2009. Openmoko Released Casing Schematics Open-Source

Openmoko, the proliferators of open-source mobile phone products, announced yesterday that they will be releasing the schematics to their Neo 1973 and Neo FreeRunner devices so developers can take their design and run with it.  Prior to this announcement, Creative Commons licensed CAD files were available so designers could change how the phone looked for different markets.
