Palm's webOS is currently only available on the Palm Pre that is a Sprint exclusive for now. The OS is expected to turn up in other handsets from Palm eventually. Some information on the next version of webOS has surfaced today.

Regarding the latest iTunes 8.2 update that raised some doubts as to whether it would still connect seamlessly with the Palm Pre, sources who have tested the Pre with the iTunes 8.2 have confirmed to Wired.com that music syncing still works.

The much-anticipated Palm Pre has now got a launch date and price, courtesy of an official Sprint announcement. Pre buyers will be able to pick up the WebOS smartphone from June 6th, priced at $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and subject to a new, two-year agreement.
