Philips' first ventures into the touch were unveiled today by Philips. The new devices are all touch, with both having very large touch screens, and according to Philips very good battery life. The Xenium X800 device will be based off of a proprietary operating system by Philips, while the X-Connect will be powered by Windows Mobile.

In a press release by Microsoft, the news has got out that RIM and Microsoft have teamed up to provide Windows Live services to BlackBerry users. The main features that the partnership will bring are easy access to Windows Live Messenger, and better integration of Windows Live Hotmail on the BlackBerry platform.

T-Mobile has just released it's Q1 financial results and quarter summary. All in all, T-Mobile has enjoyed an encouraging quarter. They broke the 30 million subscriber mark, and have reduced overall customer churn. They achieved this by adding 981,000 new subscribers in Q1, and that is not including SunCom. Qwest and Verizon have reached a deal for Verizon to provide virtual network services for Qwest. The deal replaces Sprint as the provider, it was not stated why Qwest decided to drop them.
