I happen to like Acer; the company makes some great computers and has the top netbook on the market. I'm not sure about the company entering into the smartphone market through. Smartphones are different than computers and I wonder if the company will be able to compete with the Apple's and Nokia's of the world.

I'm not sure I get the reasoning for calling a mobile phone a rugged PC. I guess the tenuous connection is the fact that you can surf the Internet and on Windows Mobile devices you can work Office documents.
