Pre-paid mobile phone service makes a lot of sense for many users. You don’t have to sign long contracts and there is no credit check when you get a new device. The only big drawbacks are that the newest and coolest handsets aren’t typically on pre-paid plans.

I have never understood why most phone makers only offer black or grey phones. On occasion, you can get red or maroon, but for the most part its black or gray you get to choose from in the mobile industry. A few phone makers like LG and Motorola are known for offering color options.
