The mobile phone market has been doing ok in some respects and so have the manufacturers in the market, assuming they are making the phones that people are still buying. The smartphone market and feature phone market are doing well despite the poor economy.

One of the more anticipated of the Android phones hitting the market this year has been the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. The handset will replace the T-Mobile G1 as the wireless carrier's high-end Android phone.

In many areas, one of the biggest issues that T-Mobile suffers from is that it lacks retail stores where users can walk in, check out their devices, and buy. In my area, there is only one tiny T-Mobile store for potential customers to shop at.
