For weeks now there have been rumors of Wal-Mart eventually carrying Apple's iPhone 3G. Now it has been confirmed that starting December 28th, select Wal-Mart locations as well as a few Sam's Club stores will be carrying the AT&T exclusive handset. ASUS has just officially announced the new P565 smartphone, this handsets boasts an astonishing 800MHz processor, claiming to be the fastest mobile phone on the market worldwide.  ASUS states that the CPU is good for Vsbenchmark scores that are about twice as high as other rival handsets. In case you’ve missed it, the Samsung F490 is the keyboardless cousin to the Croix or F700v. It has a 5MP camera, a 3.2” touchscreen with some sort of pseudo haptic feedback system, and it has the same UI as the Croix. continued »

According to Czech site Mobile.cz, this poorly-photographed cellphone is in fact the Motorola Z12 ZiNe. Pictured next to predecessors the Z8 and Z10 (you can see the full picture after the cut), the handset appears to have a larger display and touchscreen controls, and looks to be running the same Symbian UIQ OS. continued »

The Unwired just unearthed what seems to be HTC’s new TouchFLO 2.0 called Manila. The source of the leak Mobile-devices.ch didn’t reveal the source so it’s still up in the air as to the validity of this leak.
