It has been way too long since I've actually held an iPAQ of any sort in my hands. HP has come a long way with the iPAQ 910 Business Messenger. It is obviously targeted towards BlackBerry carrying execs. The iPAQ 910 is 3G, has a QWERTY keyboard and a 2.46-inch touch screen display, 5-way navigation key, wrapped in a stylish ...

The Sony Ericsson w890i arrived a few days back and this is our first opportunity to give it a proper unboxing ceremony. Meet Bree Pearson, the newest member of Phone Magazine (Aradius Media Network) – here to walk you through the w890i. I know she should be writing this up, but she’s rather preoccupied with the w890i right now so ...

HTC wouldn't let us bring the Diamond back that we played with in the UK, but they did promise us our own and it arrived this weekend. Read on for the first part of ...

The Samsung Instinct exclusively for Sprint is by all means uber-impressive in its own rights. We've written to death about the Samsung Instinct here at Phone Magazine, so it's time that we give it a proper unboxing ceremony, first hand look and then a full review.

Having gone up for pre-order in the shape of the BUG Hiro P edition back in January, Buglabs' modular cellphone development platform has finally started shipping to customers. David Findlay is one of the lucky developers to receive the package, and he's documented the unboxing - with a whole lot of pink antistatic foam - on Flickr. Consisting of the BUGbase ...

Talk about jealous; the guys over at Akihabara News have been sent one of Sharp's distinctive 922SH Communicator-style smartphones to play with, and despite the fact that I know the 1-Seg TV wouldn't work for me and that pink isn't really my colour, I really do want one too! For now we get to enjoy the unboxing, and they're ...

Poor Judie Lipsett from Gear Diary was victim of a video-mugging while at Mobius 2007 in Amsterdam: our own Vincent Nguyen caught her on camera getting endearingly excited about Samsung's SGH-i620 PDA slider. Something good came out of the trauma, though; Judie has now got a review i620 of her own, and she's been documenting the unboxing.

Cricket announced early October of last that it would offer the Kyocera M1000 rebadged as Lingo. It’s a neat-featured phone geared towards people who likes text. The QWERTY keyboard is large and comfy to use. I like the handset’s dual personalities; candy bar form factor for when I need to use it as a phone and flipping ...
