I frequently watch YouTube videos on my iPhone when I am out and get bored. I've ran down more than one battery watching people do stupid things while waiting to pick up the kids at school. Verizon Wireless is talking up its V CAST mobile VOD service, which sounds better than YouTube.

According to a leak today, Hitachi will be launching a phone that is capable of recording HD video. It's called the Hi-Vision Cam Wooo, at least according to the packaging, and it's only the second phone to sport this HD video recording option. The first was the Samsung Omnia HD.
