If there is one thing that is similar among phone plans no matter what side of the pond you are on, it's that data plans are expensive. Similar to Simpsons Episode #1445 where the town of Springfield was kept up with calls from Happy Dude, customers of Verizon Wireless are also not so cheerful. A lawsuit has been filed against Feature Films for Families for calling approximately 500,000 customers over a 10 day period in February.

Vodafone, one of the world's largest mobile carriers, has announced they are working with Western Union to provide international mobile money transfers to their users. The two companies will launch a cross-border Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) between the UK and Kenya.
