It seems like every other manufacture is coming out with their version of “The iPhone Killer” it was only time before Motorola jumped on the bandwagon. It looks like the Motorola Blaze will be coming to Verizon, complete with a special Verizon-only operating system.

The Boy Genius Report had first looks at Motorola’s answer to this touchscreen war going on in the mobile world right now. BGR says the touch screen is decent, and the mobile browser is “OK,” but nothing to write home about. Email and texting functionality are also lambasted by BGR, as is the crush-the-screen-to-make-it-work haptic touchscreen feedback. Specs include a 2 megapixel camera, EV-DO Rev. A support GPS, Bluetooth, Mobile TV.
It didn’t sound like they were crazy about the phone, but didn’t write it off completely. To sum it all up I really don’t think The Motorola Blaze could be called an iPhone Killer, but it is a good attempt.

To be honest, it isn’t supposed to be an iPhone Killer. Its the first touchscreen phone aimed to reach the Low End consumer. http://MotorolaBlaze.com

Although you say the touchscreen is hard to use, isn’t a bit pre-mature to be ripping Mot for this? You’re probably playing with an engineering prototype, I can see why they get mad about leaks when you can prejudge like this…

To prejudge the products is kind of the job sweet heart.
