It seems every time we turn around we are seeing more leaked information regarding the upcoming Motorola Atila phone, from multiple indisputable pictures of the touchscreen handset to the release date of early 2009. The latest seems to be nothing more than a model number.

According to the Chinese site IT168, the Motorola Atila is going to be called the Motorola A3000 and/or A3100 depending on the specifications and operator. This handset is set to be a pretty powerful handset with a 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU, 256 ROM and 128MB of RAM. The 3.2-megapixel camera has autofocus and LED flash.
Running Windows Mobile 6.1 there are no surprises there. The Motorola Atila is said to be the successor to the MotoMina A-series phones like the Motorola A1600/ A1800. We hear that is this device makes it to the US it will most likely become part of the Motorola ZN-series much like the Motorola A1600 became Motorola ZN4 Krave.
