Another model from Sony Ericsson just unveiled for the younger market is the W205 Walkman. The slider phone is a good one for the first-time mobile owner who likes their tunes.

The W205 Walkman phone will be released through select markets this quarter. The US version will be available next quarter. Although pricing was not available at the moment for this model, a comparison may be the W350, which unlocked costs $175. Available in ambient black, the colour screen measures in at 1.8 inches. The phone has up to 5MB of memory with memory card support of up to 2GB. Available talk time is up to 9 hrs with standby of 425 hours.

The phone offers the user the ability to “enjoy your music with the Walkman experience”. If you are only interested in your music, the phone battery in this case will help you along for a little over 13 hours. Included in the model is FM Radio, Track ID, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and multiple phone books. The phone book theory is available in case you lend your phone to someone else. Just remember to take it back again afterwards.
