After its announcement that it would be fettling the N95 8GB for American 850/1900MHz HSDPA networks, Nokia has received FCC approval for the GPS/WiFi/HSDPA/5-megapixel uberdevice.  It looks as though the manufacturer is on course to meet its predicted Q1 2008 release date.

The N95 8GB is expected to cost around $749 SIM-free, though many are hoping that it will be picked up by a GSM carrier and hence subsidised.

As an aside, Nokia appear to have taken these images with another N95; they really should’ve increased the resolution settings, as the fuzzy pictures aren’t much of an advert for the handset’s capabilities!
