Financial Times managed to snag an interview with Ivan Seidenberg, the Verizon chief. Turns out that the relationship between Verizon and Vodafone isn’t on the best of terms.

He would like to see Verizon take full control of Verizon wireless. Currently they hold 55% of the control in Verizon and Vodafone holds the rest.
He does mention that Vodafone has been great, but would happily buy them out. Currently over at Vodafone Arun Sarin runs things, however, next month he will be passing that along to Vittorio Colao. From the sounds of it he is hoping that he will go along with this plan to just hand everything over to Verizon.
