Well the wait for the CDMA BlackBerry Curve is finally coming to a close. All major CDMA carriers are jumping at the opportunity to carry this phone. They should be, as this device is a huge seller on GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile where subscribers have been enjoying the Curve for more than a year now. The release date has been speculated on for quite a while, and it is good that it finally has a little substance.

This time around we are looking at May 9th as the day that the magic goes down. There is also pricing given. It will be available for $320 after rebates on a new two year contract. If you do not want to lose your soul, then you can buy it outright for $440. It is important to note that this date is not completely confirmed, and so you should be a little wary, as always.
The BlackBerry Curve brings some features to the table that make it worth the wait. In addition to the BlackBerry Internet Services, you get a 2 megapixel camera, and that glorious QWERTY keyboard. You also score a QVGA screen and trackball.
