The Blackberry Pearl Flip phone has been around for a while, but it has been missing from the Verizon Wireless line. Verizon and RIM have now announced that starting on June 19 the Pearl Flip 8230 smartphone will be available to Verizon customers.

The handset will be offered in silver only and has the features you expect. In case you aren’t familiar with the Pearl Flip the phone has dual LCD displays with an external LCD that lets users preview calls without opening the phone. The device also sports a 2-megapixel camera with zoom, flash, and video recording capability. Recording video requires a microSD card that is not included.
Other features include the great QWERTY keyboard Blackberry is famous for and an advanced music and video player. The Flip supports voice dialing and can access VZ Navigator and Visual Voice Mail. The Pearl Flip 8230 will be $129.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate and a new two-year agreement.
