Tinkering on the edge of a Hollywood gossip column, the ongoing talks about whether Sony and Ericsson are going their separate ways continues. Ericsson, at least says they are not looking to split.

Spokesperson Minako Nakatsuma Olofzon of Ericsson said that the Company, “has no plans to abandon its joint venture Sony Ericsson.” Ericsson at least are “committed to the joint venture; it hasn’t changed its view on that.”

At this point, Sony have not commented on the relationship. Rumors have speculated that the two are disagreeing about everything from the handset maker’s product road map to how to stem its mounting loses.
