I will admit I have been lusting after the WildCharge kit for my iPhone since I first saw it. I would love to be able to walk up to my desk and just sit the phone down to charge. In fact, I would love to charge most of my gadgets that way.

WildCharge has announced a new charge kit called the PowerDisc that has several connectors that allow the charging of devices like LG and Samsung phones, PNDs, and the Kindle using the WildCharge pad. The catch is that using the PowerDisc makes for an odd wired, wireless charging solution.

You still have to connect the PowerDisc to your gadget with a cable, which makes the wireless charging feature moot. If I have to plug something into my gadget to charge it up why not just save the $80 and plug in the devices stock charger? I guess the PowerDisc at least would let you charge multiple devices with one charger.
