Our sister publication SlashGear has posted up a review of the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. The new OS has been anticipated by fans of the WinMo OS and is finally now on the market. The OS is best used with Exchange and once Exchange 10 hits the market, the OS will shine according to the review.

There are also a number of usability tweaks as well with the ability to select more than one contact and beam to them wirelessly. You can also copy the contact to the SIM or Outlook. Push to talk is also integrated with the contacts now. The OS can also now put one call on hold, while you answer a call and then alert you if you have a third call coming in.
The UI is tweaked with a new look for the home, Start, and lock screens. The new OS also brings with it access to the Windows Market Place for Mobile. The store lacks the sheer number of apps that Apple has, but that is to be expected with a new offering. In the end the new 6.5 OS is an improvement over older versions, but still leaves the reviewer wanting more and looking forward to Windows Mobile 7.
