Windows Mobile based Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 confirmed?

Just like the X1, Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 looks like it will be a Windows Mobile device. The rumor “confirmed” casually by Ted Morgan, Skyhook founder and CEO in a Giga-Om interview discussing location based services business.

Morgan admits that the company has lost a couple of deals because of free offerings. For instance, the X2 edition of Sony Xperia phone (Windows Mobile-based) uses geolocation data from Google.

“Sometimes executives forget all the NDA’s they have signed and let slip some interesting information,” WMPowerUse wrote.
