You can’t accuse the Windows Mobile team of not loving their product: after the official launch of v6.1 of the mobile OS, the guys over at the WM Blog put together a forty-minute demo video of some of the software’s new features (and they didn’t even get a chance to include them all!) It’s aimed more at consumer users rather than enterprise customers - despite 6.1’s new clutch of remote management, VPN and security additions - so there’s the “Bronze” sliding-panel Today screen, threaded SMS, the new Task Manager and the new home screen plugins, among plenty more.
One thing they don’t show properly is Mobile Internet Explorer 6.1, so make sure to check out our own video of the latest update to the once-maligned smartphone browser (which has now pulled its metaphorical socks up, with Flash and Silverlight support amongst other things).
