The XPERIA X1 is one hot potato phone, and if Sony Ericsson is tossing it state side, I’m willing to bet the farm that AT&T will catch and run with it. I wonder how well the X1 will do against the iPhone.
No one has confirmed that AT&T is carrying the XPERIA X1, but everything sure points to it. The right band including AT&T’s HSDPA and HSUPA is there and now the AT&T XPERIENCE window is front and center on a demo unit at CeBIT 2008 – halfway around the world.
Milena managed to get Sony Ericsson’s rep to show her more of windows and happens to open facebook. Doesn’t it just look awesome on WVGA, 800×480 pixel display?

AT&T support is a huge relief. The phone may be to expensive to buy unlocked, but the carrier deal typically makes phones affordable.
Im hoping AT&T drops a couple hundred off for a 2 year contract….

Hey guys yeah the Xperia will be an awesome addition to our selection, but I must agree with Shad when I say that I would rather have the Idou streaming through AT&T. The only downside to putting off your next big purchase and holding your breathe for the Idou is the fact that Symbian hasn’t even finished it’s operating system so like I said if your in need of a new phone it’s best not to wait for the Idou.

I work as a sales rep for at&t and my sony ericsson rep has confirmed that it will be sold through at&t. there will be a 8mp camera and it should release this summer.
