It seems odd to me that if a developer wants to get their app onto the iPhone and iPod touch that they have to build the app and then home that Apple will approve it. I am sure it would be better for the developers to know if Apple would approve an app before they spent time building it.

BioAuthorize announced today that it had received approval from Apple for its next iPhone app called yadaBlackBook. The app allows the user to protect their contacts from being viewed by other users. To access the contents the user uses their voice as a security key.
The app creates a second contact list that is not included in the main contacts list. All of the contacts on the phone can be viewed from within yadaBlackBook and those in bold are secret and those not are publicly viewable. The app takes three voice recordings to provide access to the device. The app is available now for $3.99.
